This campaign rolled out over a 3 month period. Let's me take you through it.
A lot of South Africans haven't tried online shopping, it's just not something they do. Takealot.com, SA's largest e-tailer, wanted to show them that it's easy.
First, we had to normalise it. Every family has their gofer, fetcher, and designated family minion. The kid whose job it is fetch the remote, answer the door, and run to the shops. Sibusiso is that child. But he's ready to show his parents that there's an easier way to get things done.

Following the main ad, we created a series of shorts that showed his parents learning how to use Takealot.com and getting their shopping done.

Next up it was time to bust some myths around online shopping.

And finally, we celebrated the joy of giving over the festive season, where we met Sibusiso’s gogo (grandmother) and her carer, Cynthia.
